We want to help our students, their parents and our lovely Zumba® enthusiasts. Whether it's for attending one of our classes or if you're simply just thinking about having your first class with us. We've compiled a list of questions and answers that will hopefully satisfy you curious lot.

We're trying to keep this updated as often as we can, there could be a question that we haven't answered. If so, please contact us now and we'll help you out.

General Information

How much are the classes?

How do I book a class?

To book a class click on the contact button and select book a childrens' class. Complete the booking form and send. Alternatively call us on 07500618613.

What should my child wear?

Students should wear comfortable clothing with trainers. There is a set uniform of t-shirt and jog pants once your child is settled into the class and these can be ordered via the class teacher.

What should my child bring?

No personal belongings eg mobile phones should be brought to class. Flex Dance Inc will not be held responsible for any lost or damaged items in class. Students are advised to bring a drink with them.


No jewellery is to be worn at classes for safety reason. Hair must be tied back.

Can I watch my child's class?

We do not allow spectators in classes due to Child protection reasons and they distract students from learning. All our staff are CRB checked and ensure children are in a safe controlled environment.

At some classes there are areas in the building to sit and wait please note this is not at every class venue. The majority of parents drop off and go, returning for the end of class.

What happens if my child becomes ill/injured during a Flex Dance Class In the event of illness?

We will contact parents using the telephone numbers provided by you on your child's registration form. In the event of an emergency, we will contact the emergency services first as well as the parent.

It is your responsibility to inform us to any changes of telephone numbers and details etc. Please note dance is a high energy sport and injuries can sometimes happen. This however is very rare and parents should feel reassured their child is learning with a professional in a safe controlled environment.

Who are the teachers? Are they CRB checked? First Aid Trained?

All of our teachers are university degree holders with years of experience teaching dance. We also have assistants to help out with toilet trips etc. Every staff member is CRB checked and there is a first aider on site at every class.

Payment Policy

We now require you to pay for your child's place on a monthly basis. The price of the class has not increased however we require you to pay for sessions whether or not your child attends at the start of each month. This is to ensure classes are sustainable and that places remain filled or become available to those on our waiting list.

Below are some questions and answers that apply to the new policy that we hope will be helpful

Why has this policy been put in place?

Having closely monitored attendance for the past 3 months it became clear that when students miss classes for parties, sickness, weekends away etc we wouldn't cover our costs. This policy is to ensure we can afford to keep classes open and running.

What if my child is sick or we are on holiday?

Unfortunately the policy is for all classes with no exceptions. Flex Dance has a 6 week break during the Summer holidays, 2 weeks at Easter and a 3 week break over the Xmas period.
